Born in the United Kingdom, Ben comes from a family of horse trainers and riders, and grew up around horses, developing a deep love and understanding of these magnificent animals. Over the years, he has trained horses for some of the biggest productions in the world, including "War Horse", "Robin Hood", "Poldark", and "Peaky Blinders." Ben's unique approach to horse training focuses on building a strong bond and mutual trust between horse and rider, which evident in the seamless and realistic performance he helps to create. From an early age, Steve's passion for horses was unparalleled. This passion fueled his journey for knowledge, leading him to travel across the country to learn from some of the greatest horsemen of all time, including the legendary Ray Hunt. The culmination of this extensive mentorship and his work with thousands of horses and riders over the past 30 years forms the foundation of Rother Horsemanship and Liberty Programs. Steve is dedicated to helping individuals build a better relationship with their horses. He has crafted a simple, step-by-step program that caters to all breeds and disciplines, and is accessible to riders of any skill level. His training methods are in high demand across the country, empowering countless individuals to achieve their horsemanship dreams.
